On the evening of September 24, 2009, at approximately 5:30pm, the Manitou RCMP responded to a call in the Rural Municipality of Louise, south of La Riviere, Manitoba, where a male was trapped under a hay bale after a stack gave way on his farmyard.
On September 23, 2009, shortly after 8pm, RCMP Snow Lake Detachment were notified by an off duty RCMP member traveling through with radio service, that he came across a fatal single vehicle rollover on Highway 39, about 3 kilometres west on Highway 392 junction (Snow Lake turn off).

On September 5, 2009 shortly after 12:30am, RCMP Powerview were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 11, South Shore, Fort Alexander.
On September 4, 2009, shortly after 10:30pm, Stonewall RCMP Detachment responded to a three-vehicle collision, with a confirmed fatality, at Inkster Boulevard and Prairie Dog Trail, between Klimpke and Sturgeon Road.
On August 25, 2009 around 6:45pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a vehicle and train collision on Highway 16 less than one kilometre north of Highway 1.
Minnedosa RCMP have charged 19-year-old Christopher Ryan Rollins with several charges as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on June 19, 2009 near Bethany, Manitoba.
The victim of a hit and run that occurred earlier this week just east of the East Selkirk Bridge on highway 204, has been identified as 33-year-old Jeremy Wright of Selkirk, Manitoba.
