All Manitobans are invited to discover the province’s natural beauty, diverse cultures, enticing food and the great outdoors by attending one of Manitoba’s many winter festivals.

RCMP report that the 2011 Folk Festival, held at Birds Hill Provincial Park this past July 6 to 10, resulted in numerous charges.

Vic Toews, Member of Parliament for Provencher, on behalf of the Hon. James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, announced funding of over $74,000 for 6 festivals celebrating local arts and culture.
