On January 5, 2009 at about 10:15 a.m., Killarney RCMP were dispatched to a fire at 309 Fletcher Street in Killarney, Manitoba.
On the evening of December 31, 2008 at 10:45 p.m., East Interlake Area RCMP, Riverton Fire Department and Interlake Regional Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a fire at the Radisson Hecla Resort in Hecla Provincial Park.
At approximately 8:30am, December 31, 2008 Brandon RCMP members along with Brandon City Fire Department responded to a barn fire that occurred near Provincial Route 270 in the RM of Elton.
On December 30, 2008 at approximately 2:00pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP and Portage la Prairie Emergency Services responded to an apartment fire on Charlton Avenue.
RCMP Stonewall Detachment are continuing their investigation into the residential fire in Stonewall this morning.
On December 15th shortly after 7 a.m., RCMP members of Stonewall Detachment along with the Stonewall / Rockwood Fire Department were dispatched to a residential fire at the corner of Spruce Lane and 2nd Avenue North in the Town of Stonewall.
RCMP Stonewall Detachment are continuing their investigation into the residential fire in Stonewall.
RCMP Stonewall Detachment advises that the post mortem has taken place December 16 at the Health Sciences Centre and the deceased, a 48-year-old woman resident of that home, died as a result of smoke inhalation.
