On Friday, June 14, 2013, at approximately 3:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a distraught male at a residence in the RM of North Norfolk.

On June 14, 2013, shortly after 6:30am, Powerview RCMP were dispatched to a shooting incident at a rock quarry near Bissett.
