On May 1, 2012, at 5:45pm, Carman Area RCMP, the Altona Police Service, the Altona Fire Department and ambulance personnel responded to a chemical gas leak at a local business.
At approximately 11:30am on February 15, 2011, Central Plains RCMP responded to report of a gas leak at the Canadian Tire located on Saskatchewan Ave. in Portage la Prairie.
