There have been a number of house fires in the community of God’s Lake Narrows in recent months and investigation has revealed the cause of a number of these fires to be arson.
RCMP have made an arrest earlier this week in connection with an ongoing drug related investigation.
God’s Lake Narrows RCMP members collected and delivered an assortment of hockey equipment donated from other inter-agency partners for dissemination to the children in the Community of God’s Lake Narrows.
The victim of a homicide, which occurred on September 23, 2010, has been identified as 44-year-old Flora Ann Trout of God’s Lake Narrows FN.
On January 1, 2010 at about 5am, the God’s Lake Narrows RCMP Detachment were dispatched to a house fire on the God’s Lake Narrows First Nation.
On December 14, 2009 at about 2am, God’s Lake Narrows RCMP were on their way to a call when they were advised that a person had possibly fallen through the ice in the Narrows area between the Community of God’s Lake Narrows and the First Nation Community.
On November 9, 2009, the deceased found in the residence of a recent house fire in God’s Lake Narrows, was identified as a 47-year-old woman, resident of that home.
On November 5, 2009, at about 11pm, God’s Lake Narrows RCMP were advised of a house fire in the Community of God’s Lake First Nation.
On June 5, 2009 around 7:50 p.m., God’s Lake Narrows RCMP were advised of a four-year-old boy that had just been pulled from the water at God’s Lake Narrows.
