Initially reported as a cattle theft in the RM of Hanover, has now been found to be a case of missing cattle, police say.

St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with a cattle theft incident that occurred last month.

The Government of Canada announced hat two municipalities in south-eastern Manitoba have been approved for low-cost infrastructure loans as part of Canada’s Economic Action Plan.

A Ste. Anne man is dead after being run over by his gravel truck yesterday near Blumenort, Manitoba.

In the early morning hours of June 11, 2011, Steinbach RCMP received multiple complaints of vehicle thefts from Steinbach and the RM of Hanover.

On June 2, 2011, at 7:45am, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a collision between two vehicles at the junction of Highway 311 and Road 35E in the RM of Hanover.

On May 21, 2011 at approximately 2:53am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a large hog barn fire with a very large feeder barn located in the RM of Hanover.

With the 2011 Census upon us, the City of Steinbach and the municipalities of La Broquerie, Ste. Anne, and Hanover strongly encourage all households to participate as the census numbers determine the amount of provincial and federal funding communities will receive.

On March 14, 2011, at approximately 10:30pm, Steinbach RCMP as well as local Emergency Services and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a two vehicle collision on PR 303, east of PR 216 in the RM of Hanover.

Although the 2011 Census date is still a couple months away, the City of Steinbach and the municipalities of La Broquerie, Ste. Anne and Hanover are already working together to promote participation in the Census.
