Unknown suspects vandalized a red 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse which was parked on the driveway of a rural residence in the RM of Hanover.

On July 7, 2009 at approximately 1:30 a.m, Steinbach RCMP Detachment were dispatched to a chicken barn fire in the RM of Hanover, one mile north of highway 206 and on the north side of highway 52.

Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen, has written Transportation Minister Ron Lemieux asking him to make a priority the requests from the RM of Hanover on road repair in the Municipality.

On April 9, 2009, at about 7 p.m., members of the St. Pierre Jolys RCMP Detachment were dispatched to a single vehicle collision 1/2 mile east of Grunthal on Provincial Road 205 in the Rural Municipality of Hanover.

On April 10, 2009 at about 10:30 am., Steinbach RCMP executed a search warrant on a rural property in the Rural Municipality of Hanover, as a result of a lengthy marijuana grow operation investigation.

The southeast region of Manitoba is urgently requesting funding from the Government of Canada through Canada-Manitoba Infrastructure Programs.
