RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 41-year-old Oakbank man, Andrew Naaykens.
In November 2015, the Oakbank RCMP Detachment commenced a lengthy investigation into the trafficking of cocaine and illegal counterfeit pills involving several individuals within the Oakbank community.
On December 6, 2015, shortly after midnight, Oakbank RCMP officers responded to a report of an assault that had just occurred in the 500 block of Main Street in Oakbank, Manitoba.
On November 29, 2015 at approximately 11am, Selkirk and Oakbank officers attended the intersection of Road 76 North and Road 35 East, in response to a two vehicle collision.
On June 1, 2015, at approximately 9:15pm, in Kilcona Park, Oakbank RCMP observed a male, who appeared to be intoxicated, enter a pickup truck and drive several metres before exiting the vehicle.
Oakbank RCMP have been investigating a theft of a wallet that occurred on February 16, 2015. Credit cards from the victim’s wallet have been used in several “tap-to-pay” transactions, costing more than $1,000 in total.
On December 5, 2014, just after 1pm, Oakbank RCMP responded to a report of an employee in possession of a prohibited weapon at the Deacon’s Reservoir Aqueduct and Water Treatment Plant.
On July 4, 2014, just before 8:30pm, Oakbank RCMP responded to a collision involving a single vehicle and pedestrian in Oakbank, Manitoba.
On May 31, 2014, at approximately 10:30 pm, Oakbank RCMP responded to a fire on Deacon Road (Highway 207) just north of Dugald Road.
On January 12, 2014, shortly before 10:30am, Oakbank RCMP responded to a three-vehicle collision on Garven Road, two miles east of PR 206.
