On February 27, 2013, just before 2am, Portage la Prairie RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of an armed robbery at a convenience store located in the 1200 block of Saskatchewan Avenue West in Portage la Prairie.

Just before 2am on February 19, 2013, Central Plains RCMP responded to a house fire on Old Bridge Road in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

RCMP are currently investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred in Portage la Prairie this past weekend.

Just after 4:30am on February 5, 2012, Central Plains RCMP seized a quantity of marijuana while investigating a Highway Traffic Act offence.
