Three Portage la Prairie youth are facing weapons charges after police responded last month to a complaint that a female youth had been hit with an air rifle pellet.

Two Portage la Prairie residents are facing drug trafficking charges after police discovered cocaine at a local residence earlier this week.

On November 8, 2011, just after 6:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP, EMS and Fire Department, responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Tupper Street North at 5th Avenue NW in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

On October 31, 2011, just before 11am, Portage la Prairie RCMP, Traffic Services, EMS and Fire Department, responded to a 2 vehicle collision on Provincial Road 240 at the merging lane on Highway 1, near Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

On October 27, 2011, at approximately 1:15pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP Traffic Services, as well as Portage la Prairie EMS and Portage la Prairie Fire Department, responded to a 2 vehicle collision on Highway 1.

RCMP have laid charges in a two vehicle collision incident that occurred yesterday morning in Portage la Prairie.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a truck and driver involved in a theft incident which occurred last week in the RM of Portage la Prairie.

Just before 9pm on October 18, 2011, Central Plains RCMP seized a quantity of marijuana while investigating a Highway Traffic Act offence.

On October 17, 2011, just after 8am, Central Plains RCMP received a report of a break and enter to the business Gerrard Scrap Metals on 14th Street NE in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Just after 9pm on October 8, 2011, Portage la Prairie General Investigation Section seized a stolen vehicle.
