On October 6, 2011, just before 11pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP were on patrol investigating a report of a bicycle theft.

Central Plains RCMP are looking for information in connection with a vehicle fire incident that occurred this past August in Portage la Prairie.

On September 30, 2011, just before 9am, Central Plains RCMP, as well as Portage la Prairie Fire Department and Portage EMS, responded to a 3 vehicle collision on Crescent Road at 8th Street SW, in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Just before 9pm on September 25, 2011, Central Plains RCMP seized a quantity of marihuana while investigating a Highway Traffic Act offence.

Just before 1:30am, on the morning of September 27, 2011, Central Plains RCMP were called to the residence in the 600 block of Spruce Bay in Portage la Prairie, where it was reported that a male had been assaulted with a weapon.

During the month of September Central Plains RCMP have responded to numerous reports of break and enters and attempted break and enters to businesses both within and outside of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Portage la Prairie RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 21-year-old Justin David Levasseur.

On September 6, 2011, at about 5am, Portage la Prairie RCMP, Portage Fire and EMS as well as CN Rail and Manitoba Hydro responded to a single vehicle collision with a hydro tower.

On August 23, 2011, just after 3pm, a 43-year-old man from the RM of Portage la Prairie attended the local RCMP Detachment to turn in a hand grenade that he had found.

A 30-year-old female was sent to hospital yesterday after her vehicle collided with a hydro pole just east of Poplar Point in the RM of Portage la Prairie.
