On October 23, 2009 at around 10:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a complaint of vandalism to a residence on Willow Bay.

On October 16, 2009, at about 11pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of an impaired driver at the corner of 8th Street West and Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Prairie.

Rosann Wowchuk, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, and Candice Hoeppner, Member of Parliament for Portage-Lisgar, visited Portage la Prairie’s Food Development Centre to meet with FDC CEO Linda Lowry and kick-off the expansion made possible through federal and provincial funding.

On October 8, 2009, at approximately 10:15pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of vandalism to a Pembina Trails School Division bus.

On October 7, 2009, at approximately 9am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a business on the 100 block of Saskatchewan Avenue East in Portage la Prairie.

On October 7, 2009, at 12:25am, Portage la Prairie RCMP members on patrol observed a 1992 Chevrolet Corsica being driven at a high rate of speed in the North East area of Portage la Prairie.

On October 5, 2009, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a 2 vehicle collision on the Trans Canada Highway at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

On October 5, 2009, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a school fire in the R.M of Portage la Prairie.

On October 2, 2009 at about 2:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of a vehicle theft in progress.

Portage la Prairie RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 54-year-old Portage la Prairie resident who went missing last Tuesday.
