Nearly 1,500 impaired drivers have been taken off the road over the last six years thanks to RoadWatch, an impaired-driving initiative sponsored by Manitoba Public Insurance.
Manitoba Public Insurance is once again sponsoring the highly successful RoadWatch program, with this year’s announcement coinciding with Canada Road Safety Week.
On August 8, 9 and 10, 2014, Steinbach RCMP partnered with Manitoba Public Insurance and conducted a series of Checkstops as part of the MPI Roadwatch Program.
Manitoba Public Insurance announced it is providing funding to police agencies to conduct targeted, dedicated enforcement in school zones, and “Do Not Pass” laws pertaining to school buses.
More than 600 drinking drivers have been removed from the road over the last three years as a result of the RoadWatch program which is funded by Manitoba Public Insurance.
Manitoba Public Insurance’s successful anti-drinking and driving program, RoadWatch, begins this May long weekend.
