On May 25, 2009 at around 6:45pm RCMP Selkirk were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Morrison Avenue in the City of Selkirk after receiving a report of a collision involving a pick-up truck and a garage.

On April 16, 2009, RCMP Selkirk Detachment arrested 22-year-old Orry Stanford Morrisseau of Selkirk in connection with a shooting incident on April 12, 2009.

On April 12, 2009 at 12:15 a.m., RCMP Selkirk Detachment were dispatched to the 200 Block of Manitoba Avenue in Selkirk following a report of a man shot at.

On April 03, 2009 at around 10:20pm RCMP Selkirk received a report of shots fired at a resident located on the 600 block of Main Street in the City of Selkirk.

On March 24, 2009 at around 10:30am RCMP Selkirk received a report from Ecole Selkirk Junior High advising that a teacher had located a firearm in a student’s locker.

On March 15, 2009 at around 1:55am RCMP Selkirk conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the City of Selkirk that was operating with an altered licence plate validation sticker.

On March 07, 2009 RCMP Selkirk solved a graffiti problem that had affected several communities including the City of Selkirk, RM of St. Andrew’s, RM of St. Clements and possibly the City of Winnipeg.

Selkirk RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 29 year old Michael Burnett, who is a resident of the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.

On February 22, 2009 at around 9:45pm, RCMP Selkirk responded to an attempted armed robbery at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Main Street in the City of Selkirk.

On February 22, 2009 at 4:03 PM Selkirk RCMP were advised of an unconscious male and female at a residence in Selkirk, Manitoba.
