On June 7, 2016, around 5pm, Swan River RCMP officers responded to a call regarding a resident that found what he believed to be the remains of a body on the shoreline of Lake Winnipegosis in the area of Shoal River.
On July 16, 2014, at approximately 8:30am, Swan River RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Provincial Road 483, 12 kilometres west of Sapotaweyak Cree Nation, Manitoba (Shoal River).
On July 5, 2014, at about 1:30pm, Swan River RCMP and Prairie Mountain EMS responded to a report of an accidental drowning at the Steep Rock River swimming area, near Shoal River I.R. / Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
On March 2, 2013, at about 3:30am, Swan River RCMP and Parkland EMS were dispatched to an assault with a weapon complaint in Shoal River, Manitoba.
On November 3, 2012, just after 7:30pm, Swan River RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to a complaint of an injured male in a residence on Shoal River Cree Nation.
On September 6, 2009, at 9:19am, Swan River RCMP and Swan Valley Ambulance responded to an accident on PR 483, one kilometre west of the Shoal River Reserve.
