News - Snowmobile Accident

At approximately 7:20pm, on April 2, 2011, Swan River RCMP and emergency personnel (fire and ambulance) were dispatched to a snowmobile collision approximately 1 km north of Swan River on a provincially designated snowmobile trail.

On March 19, 2011, at about 10:30am, Thompson RCMP along with Thompson Fire and EMS were dispatched to a single snowmobile collision near Joey Lake approximately 50 km south of Thompson along Provincial Highway 6.

On February 27, 2011, at 7:40pm, RCMP in Steinbach responded to a report that a snow machine had collided with a guy wire of a hydro pole at the intersection of PTH 12 and Hanover Road, just south of Steinbach.

On January 12, 2011, at about 5pm, Emerson RCMP as well as local emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of a fatal snowmobile collision near St. Joseph, Manitoba.

On December 8, 2009 at about 10:30am, RCMP Little Grand Rapids Detachment were dispatched to a fatal snowmobile collision on Family Lake in the Community of Little Grand Rapids.

On March 6, 2009 shortly before 9 a.m., a 6-year-old Red Sucker Lake First Nation child who was a passenger on a snowmobile was injured in an accident.
