The City of Steinbach’s community compost depots are now open for the season. Residents are encouraged to bring all compostable materials to one of the three depots operating every Saturday from 9am-3pm, until mid-October.
On May 30, 2015, at approximately 4pm, Steinbach RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Giesbrecht Street in Steinbach. As a result, a 32-year-old La Broquerie man and an 18-year-old Steinbach woman were arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
