With assistance from the public and from review of several hours of video surveillance, Steinbach RCMP were able to identify a man and vehicle involved in a recent suspicious male investigation.

In response to complaints from concerned citizens and the RM of La Broquerie, rural members of the Steinbach RCMP detachment in conjunction with the RM of La Broquerie bylaw officer will be increasing the enforcement of offences related to ATV issues under the Off Road Vehicle Act.

Steinbach residents can look forward to having a lot of compost material for next year’s yard and garden projects.

The city is reporting that property tax statements for Steinbach have been mailed and are due September 30th, 2013.

Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a report of a suspicious male that approached a teenage girl this past Sunday night in the Clearspring Centre parking lot near the picnic tables located north of McDonald’s.

The community garage sale notice board has been relocated to the north side of Main Street between Kroeker and Barkman Avenues, beside the Steinbach Fire Hall.

Starting today, September 16, the City of Steinbach’s Waterworks Department will be busy reading water meters in Steinbach.

A Steinbach man is facing numerous charges, including dangerous driving, after being apprehended by police this past week.

On September 12, 2013, Steinbach RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter on Cedar Crescent in Steinbach.

Steinbach RCMP report that there have been numerous phone calls made to residents of Steinbach advising the person answering the phone that they have won a quantity of “Air Miles.”
