On May 24, 2011, at about 6pm, Swan River RCMP and Swan Valley EMS responded to an assault with a weapon near the Taylor School in Swan River, Manitoba.

A Pine River man has been charged after police seized $15,000 in marijuana during a search of the man’s vehicle.

On May 11, 2011, Swan River RCMP laid four charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
