On August 6, 2009 at 4:52am, Thompson RCMP and Emergency Medical Services responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 6, 15 kilometres south of Thompson.
On July 30, 2009 at 10:30pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover having occurred on the Wuskwatim Dam Road approximately 13 kilometres from it’s junction with highway 391.
Human remains have positively identified, from dental records, as those of Bernard Carlo Hart who was reported missing earlier this month.
On July 12, 2009, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Thompson RCMP received a report that civilian searchers had located a body in the Burntwood River, about 5 kilometres east of Thompson.
On July 8, 2009, at 11:45 a.m., Thompson RCMP were contacted by members of a civilian search team that skeletal remains had been found in a wooded area just off a hydro power line, east of Thompson.
On June 22nd, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., Thompson RCMP were notified by an international call centre of a distress alert from a GPS emergency beacon.
Thompson RCMP along with the Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on June 12, 2009 at 5:20 p.m., approximately 25 kms south of Thompson, Manitoba on the #6 Highway.
On the evening of June 3, 2009 Thompson RCMP responded to an aggravated assault near the apartment complex on Ashberry Place in Thompson Manitoba.
On Friday, May 15, 2009 at about 11:20 p.m., Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a fatal motor vehicle collision, in the Juniper area of the city of Thompson.
Three men have been charged with the Thompson murder of Stanley Mackechnie, a 17-year-old resident of The Pas which occurred on April 10, 2009.
