On July 4, 2009, at 10:06 AM, Virden RCMP were informed of a single motorcycle accident approximately 3 kilometres east of the Saskatchewan – Manitoba border on Highway 2.

A Brandon man has been charged in a vehicle collision incident that resulted in two deaths from June 2008.

On March 18, 2009 just before 9 a.m., RCMP Virden Detachment responded to a Fatal collision involving a male riding a mobility cart and a CP Rail cargo train on King Street in the Town of Virden, Manitoba.
