Vita youth, Miss Candace Maxymowich, has been selected to receive this year’s Lieutenant Governor’s Make a Difference Community Award for the Eastman Region.
Community volunteers from Vita and Oakbank were among those recently honoured with nominations for the 2009 Fred Douglas Humanitarian Awards.
