Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen, attended a ceremony Wednesday night in Winnipeg organized by members of the Manitoba Filipino community to offer thanks to Canada’s Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) which deployed to the Philippines shortly after Typhoon Haiyan struck that country in November of last year.
