Obituary

On November 10, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family, Gordon Penner Thiessen courageously and with dignity passed away.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter Shirley and son-in-law Rick, daughter-in-law Kim, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Norma and second wife Maxine, his son Randy and grandson J.J.

Gordon always had a smile in his face. He was a kind, caring loving father, husband and grandfather. Gordon was a Barber for 34 years. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping travel and bowling.

Deep appreciation to Pembina Place Mennonite home; to all the staff for their wonderful care of Gordon.

Donations may be made to the Heart Foundation in Gordon’s name.

Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Friday November 15th, 2019 at Springs Church – Steinbach, 179 Chapel Drive, Steinbach, Manitoba. Burial at Steinbach Heritage Cemetery.
