Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother Henry A. Falk, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, at the age of 88, at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home, Steinbach. His earthly journey of walking with the Lord, his Saviour, by faith is now complete. A new heavenly journey is now his.
Henry was born on August 15, 1932 to Aron and Helena Falk. On November 14, 1954, he married Tina Hiebert. Mom passed away on September 8, 1988. Dad then married Betty Kroeker on May 6, 1989. Dad and Mom had five children, four sons (Dale, Gordon, Walter and Ernie) and one daughter (Cathy). He had nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Henry was an auto mechanic during his working career. In 1967, Mom and Dad purchased an auto repair shop in New Bothwell, Manitoba and operated the shop until Mom’s passing in 1988. After his marriage to Betty, they moved to Kleefeld for 11 years, and then moved to Steinbach for his remaining years. Throughout his life, he was active in church, volunteering wherever he could. In retirement, Dad and Betty travelled and volunteered at Rio Grande Bible Institute and Providence College.
Henry is survived by his wife Betty, sons Dale (Laura), Gordon (Roseann), Walter (Gisele) and Ernie (Angela) and daughter Cathy (Douglas); grandchildren David, Janel, Kevin, Michelle, Matthew, Jazzmyn, Reg, Sophie and Emmett; great-grandchildren Bella, Emelyn, Julia, Liam, Julian and Felix; sisters Gertrude and Margaret and brother Jake (Elaine).
A public come & go viewing will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Please remain in your vehicle until directed inside.
A private family funeral service will be held in Steinbach, Manitoba.
