Obituary

Melvin Reimer, of Blumenort, MB., passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at his residence.

Melvin Reimer passed away at the age of 77. He was born on May 1, 1944, in Winnipeg, MB.

At the age of four, he and his family left Canada and moved to Mexico. Nine years later they then moved to Belize, where he met his wife Josevia. They came to Canada in February of 1979 for the funeral of his father, they went back to Belize in May then returned again in June to live in Blumenort, MB. At the age of 69 he accepted the Lord in his life and got baptized.

Melvin is survived by his wife of 43 years, four kids, five grandkids, two great-grandkids and his sister Susie.

He was predeceased by his Mom, Dad and sister Tina.

A come and go viewing for 10 people at a time will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

A livestreamed private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

Interment to follow at Blumenort Cemetery, Blumenort, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral costs.
