Obituary

Johann Giesbrecht Froese, aged 82 years, passed away following a lengthy illness on Monday, July 19, 2021, at 1:25 p.m. at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his wife Sara Giesbrecht Doerksen, as well as their four daughters, four sons and their families; he is also survived by five sisters, five brothers, 23 grandchildren, four sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.

Johann was predeceased by both of his parents, three siblings, eight sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.

The come and go viewing will take place on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The livestreamed private family service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Followed by the interment at Blumenort Community Church Cemetery, Blumenort, MB., all are welcome provided public health orders/social distancing protocols are being followed.
