The family announces with deep sadness the passing of Bill Dokken at home on Friday, November 18, 2022. He fought a long and courageous battle with a number of health issues. He was always optimistic that he was going back to the country.
He leaves behind his three children: Jason, Gina and Jessie; his brothers: Ken (Susie), David, and John; his sisters: Eileen (Paul), Lorraine (Oliver), and Marilyn; as well as his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, his good friend Lawrence and his friend Erna.
He was predeceased by his special friend Rolly.
Bill started working at a young age with his dad, cutting logs and learning everything about bush work. As he got the experience, he went out and bought his own equipment. He continued working in the logging business with his brothers.
The family would like to thank the homecare workers that took good care of him and also Shannon that went out of her way to help.
A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
