Obituary

Rosie Brandt, age 89, of Winnipeg, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She is survived by her children Darlene (Cliff), Robert (Theresa), Michael (Elizabeth) and Heather, grandchildren Richard (Julia), Amanda (Ryan), Stephanie (Nelson), Julie, Krystle, Peter, Jacob Brandt, Justin, Christopher and Ed, and great-grandchildren Carys, Finnian, Eloise, Kristian and Jaxon. She is also survived by four sisters and two brothers.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter Brandt, son Perry, one sister and two brothers.

Rosie and Peter were married on May 19, 1956. They lived for several years in Winnipeg, MB, before moving to Niagara Falls. She was an avid knitter and crocheter, and she loved to entertain. She also loved her motorcycle riding with her very good friend J.P.

Come & Go viewing will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The livestreamed funeral will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing at the chapel prior to the service.
