Obituary

Unexpectedly, yet peacefully on June 18, 2023, Larry Allarie at the age of 85, passed away at home.

Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife Adeline (Mondor) Allarie (November 5, 2020) and cherished son Brian Allarie (August 31, 2015). Larry has also joined his parents (Peter and Anne), his brother, Walter and sisters, Helen and Pierrette in Heaven. Adeline has joined her parents (Matilda and Philippe) her brothers and sisters, Alice, Leon, Edward, Anita and Doris.

Larry and Adeline will be deeply missed by their daughter Jo-Anne (Victor), grandchildren Curtis and Austin (Stephanie). Larry’s brothers and sisters, Henry, Rene (Annette), Pierre (Evelyn), Pauline, Dianne (Dyck), and Lucille. Sister-in-law Helene Mondor and many loving nieces and nephews. Larry and Adeline have gained many lifelong friends who will also miss them deeply.

Larry and Adeline were married on February 1, 1964. They spent every day together until Adeline became too ill to stay home. Larry would travel every day to be with the love of his life until her passing.

A celebration of Larry and Adeline’s lives will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Ile-Des-Chenes at 1:00 PM on July 9, 2023. All are welcome to share their memories and stories. The interment will follow at the Ile-Des-Chenes Cemetery.
