Obituary

Peter Cornelius Schroeder Friesen (Story teller/Farmer) father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Heritage Life Personal Care Home, Niverville, MB.

He leaves behind his children Jessie and Peter, Peter and Johanna, Trudy, Neil and Theresa, Philip and Jeungeon, Irene and Mike and Eric plus 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Peter was predeceased by his wife Justina and two grandchildren; Joshua Quentin and Marie Fay.

The viewing for Peter Friesen will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The livestreamed funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

Private family burial will follow at Silberfeld Cemetery, Landmark, Manitoba.
