With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dianne Bernice Rempel, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and pillar of her community, who departed this life peacefully on October 7, 2023, at the age of 74.
Dianne was born on April 13, 1949, a spring child who blossomed into a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family, her deep spiritual convictions, and her gentle, nurturing spirit.
Dianne’s memory will be lovingly cherished by her children: Keith Rempel, Marlene Rempel, Dawn Blankenstyn (née Rempel), and Phillip Rempel, as well as her grandchildren, and her surviving brother, Douglas Forsyth. Additionally, she leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and community members, all of whom were deeply touched by her warmth and selflessness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allan Jack Rempel, and her siblings Judy Forsyth, Gordon Forsyth, and Kenneth Forsyth.
Dianne’s life was a testament to her faith and the love she had for those around her. She found joy in simple pleasures: an apple tree in bloom, a shared meal, and the laughter of her grandchildren. Her nurturing nature found a special place in the Emmanuel Baptist Church community, where she was a beacon of support and kindness.
Dianne’s commitment to her faith and community shone brightly through her years of dedicated service at the Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church. She first poured her heart into the Pioneer Girls program, guiding young girls with her wisdom and love. Later, she became a cornerstone of the Kid’s Scripture Memory Program, where she touched the lives of countless children with her gentle spirit and her dedication to nurturing their faith and character.
A Celebration of Life for Dianne will be held on November 10 at 1 pm at the Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church, a place that held significant meaning for her. This gathering will not only mourn her departure but also commemorate the beautiful impact she had on everyone she met.
As we bid farewell to Dianne Bernice Rempel, we hold close the memories and the love she so generously shared. Her legacy of compassion, faith, and community spirit will forever resonate in the lives she touched and the community she so dearly cherished.
