Annette Hupé, nee Vincent, of Ste-Anne, MB suddenly passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Steinbach Regional Health Centre.

She was predeceased by her parents Louis (Capitan) and Leona Vincent, her late husband Ray (Rheal) Hupé, her son Michel Trudeau, husband Léo Trudeau, two sisters Pierrette Moreau and Reynalde Nault and brothers-in-law Aimé Moreau, Benoit Nault, Denis Perrin, Armand Hupé. Two nieces, Jaqueline Mourant and Julie Parille.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, whom she loved unconditionally, Nicole (Garry), Lise (Glen), Paul (Nancy), Luc (Jamie), (Hazel), (Terry), (Lynne) and also grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Annette also leaves to mourn four sisters, Rhea, Lucille, Louise (Henri), and Jeannine (Rosaire) and two brothers Philip (Helene) and Claude (Louise).

Mom was born July 24, 1942 in Ste-Anne, MB, where she continued to reside for the majority of her life. She married Léo Trudeau and had five children. She was a hard worker and enjoyed 20 years as a Health Care Aide at the Villa Youville. She had a passion for cooking, sewing and reading. She did everything possible for her children, was a great hostess, always had an open-door policy, she welcomed everyone with open arms and loved to cook for them. No matter the situation, she always had a positive outlook on life, the cup was not half empty, rather it was half full. She always looked forward to seeing all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so proud of them. Mom loved to dance, listen to music, she was a spunky woman, always interested in the newest fashion and never wanting to miss any family outings. She enjoyed so many trips with her siblings to Grand Forks, Mexico and Florida.

She will be sadly missed by all of us and never forgotten.

The family wishes to thank all the medical staff at Steinbach Regional Health Centre’s Emergency Department and special thanks to Nicole & Garry De Sutter for taking care of her these last 6 months in their home.

A funeral service will be held at Crossings Funeral Care at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
