She passed in Dominion City in her own bed with her children Sandra and Scott and son in law Mike by her side.
Ella had a very short fight with stage 4 lung cancer. She stayed positive throughout her fight; her positivity is what helped her loved one’s cope with the process.
She is predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Olga, husband Ronald, her son Christopher and her siblings, Otto, Erma, Delma, Margaret, and Vera.
Left to cherish her memory are her Children, Sandra (Mike) and Scott (Carole) and her Grandchildren Kolby (Rachel), Ellie (Ned) Jack (Steph) and great grandson Oliver of Australia, Karly (Derek) and Kelsey (Shane) and great grandsons Eli, and Easton of Winnipeg.
Ron and Ella travelled many places together including many winters spent in Arizona and Australia but made their home in Beaconia Beach, right on Lake Winnipeg where many family memories were made over 50 years.
Ella loved watching Curling and American Idol and was a frequent visitor of South Beach Casino where she enjoyed the company of a large group of friends.
In her later years, Ella became involved more and more with the Church in Stead, MB.
A Memorial / Celebration of Life will be held on July 9th at South Beach Casino starting at 3.00 PM. Family and friends will be attending from across the globe. Everyone that knew and laughed along with Ella are welcome.
The family wish to thank the Palliative Care unit of the Southern Health region, who ensured Ella and the family were informed, supported and treated with respect.
