Obituary

Elizabeth Niessen, aged 88 years, of Grunthal, MB., passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB.

She is survived by two sisters, three brothers and their families.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents Johan & Elizabeth, two sisters and four brothers.

A special thank-you to the staff at the Menno Home, doctors and to those who helped out in Elizabeth’s last days.

The come and go visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Reinland Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB., with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
