Obituary

Peter Doerksen, aged 76 years, of Steinbach, MB., passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his wife Anne of 54 years, his daughter Lynn (Jim), Ashley (Bryce), Brendan; son Vern (Lisa), Jessie (Rheal), Charlie, Brooke, Seth; son Jerry (Rox), Riley, Bryson and Bailey.

He is survived by his seven sisters and three brothers.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Wilhelm and Agatha and brother William.

Dad was a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved his animals, fishing and his gardening.

The family would like to thank the palliative care floor at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.

The livestreamed funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with the viewing one hour prior to the service.
