Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Andrew Ernst on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB. at the age of 79.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon (nee Peeler); Daughters Jodi Tremblay (Claude), Carrie Lachance (Kevin) and Sherry Waite (Andy) ; Grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Calum, Dylan, Kayden & Cassidy ; Great-Grandson Bennett.

He was predeceased by his Father Joseph, Mother Lena, Brother Joe, Sister Irene and Son-in-law Carl.

Robert and Sharon both grew up in Brandon, Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg to raise their family. They later moved outside of Ile Des Chenes, MB where they spent close to 50 years. Robert got into the Sheet Metal industry and later started his own Heating and Air Conditioning business. For many years Bob and Sharon loved to travel, especially to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and loved spending their summers at their cottage at Ditch Lake where they had many good friends.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne for taking care of our dad in his final days and making his last days comfortable.
