Obituary

Roland Gosselin, age 90, of Ste Anne, MB., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his children Robert (Florence), Denis (Darlene), Richard (Rose), Jeannette, Suzanne and daughter-in-law Susan.

He will also be remembered by his sisters, brothers, in-laws and many friends.

He was predeceased by the love of his life Annette (Nadeau), son Gerald, son-in-law Danny and grandchild Samantha.

Roland was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a 37-year career with the CNR and 37 years of retirement. His past-times included family, friends, riding quads, snowmobiles, and playing cards. He lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for his dedication to his wife before and after she slowly lost her life to Alzheimer. At 90 years old he spent his last week quadding, visiting with siblings, children, his great-grandchildren and playing cards with his friends. A life well lived.

Thanks to his NP, Cassandra Hnatishin who was patient and gentle with our dad, and the health care aides who went above and beyond to personify dad’s care to make him feel respected.

Annette and Roland’s Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
