Obituary

Cody was born on April 22, 1993 at Brandon General 2024 at 6:31 PM at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba surrounded by his family.

Cody leaves to mourn his passing his parents Leo Kelvin) Hayden and Trina Nelson. his Koko Joyce Roberts, brothers Kyle Martin (Sonja) and Tanner Edwards, sisters Shoneen Edwards, Desiree Martin, Callie Hayden and Savannah Blacksmith (Trenton), nephews Kyzer Littlejohn, Kendre Edwards, Cassius Hayden, Izaiah Littlejohn and Dawson Reimer; nieces Mila Edwards, Hazely Edwards, Ariahlah Edwards, Anika Martin and Waaseyaa Sinclair-Hayden, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, clients and his beloved Simba.

Cody was predeceased by his grandparents Grace and William Hayden and Oliver Nelson, nephew George Martin, aunt Sylvia, cousin Ryan, cousin Brian and many others who will all welcome him home.

Wake Services will begin on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Altona Senior Centre in Altona, Manitoba. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the SEEDS Church in Altona, Manitoba.

Pastor Enns will open with a sermon and some songs and Peter Atkinson will follow with traditional burial service. A feast will follow Cody’s services and we will travel to the North Burial Grounds where Cody will be laid to rest.
