Gaylene Christina Carpenter (Holunga), 56, of Steinbach, MB., passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2024.

She is survived by her mother Brenda Holunga and father Terry Holunga, her beloved spouse Shane, her children; Magdalena, Christopher (Kimberly), Krysten, Ashley (Morgan), her grandchildren; Madison, Serena, Jordan, Kayla, Angelika, Emma, Marcus, Noah. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers Billy, Demetrios (Brandy), Theodore, Phil (Laura), Mike, Rob, Will, Brian (Billie), and her sister Lynn (Doug), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Bill Campbell, and her spouse Steven Stanick.

Gaylene grew up in Winnipeg, surrounded by her siblings and cousins, she loved traveling out east to see the ocean, or to Orlando, Florida for Disney. She always enjoyed going shopping with her girls and loved making her grand-babies smile. She loved going to the cabin or her trailer for weekend vacations. Gaylene grew up with a passion/love for horses and rodeos, loved volunteering her time whenever possible at nearby barns. More than anything Gaylene loved her family and grandchildren and was so proud to be a mother and Gigi.

The service & viewing for family and friends; will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., followed by dainties & coffee.
