Obituary

Margaret Melsted (Eliuk), aged 82 years, passed away suddenly but peacefully with her daughter by her side on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Heritage Life Personal Care Home, Niverville, MB.

She is survived by her children: Brenda (Alvin), Robert, Kim (Marilyn); grandchildren: Jolene, Chris (Vicky), Sarah (Matt), Tracey (Jon), Nicole (Sheldon), Cody (Amanda), Cory, Jordan, and Amanda. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Rena, brother Bill (Iris), sisters Elsie, Olga and their families, sisters-in-law Audrey, Carole, Jeanette and Marilyn.

Margaret was predeceased by her son Raymond, great-grandson Joshua, brother Harry, parents George, Mary, stepfather Nick S., mother and father-in-law George Sr. and Winnie Eliuk, husbands Freeman George and Gus Melsted, in-laws, Marvin, Joyce and Nick, George, John and Gibson.

Thank you to all staff at Heritage Life Personal Care Home over the last 11 years. A special thanks to nurse Angie, you admitted her 11 years ago, and you were there after her passing and to Jordan Martens from Birchwood Funeral Chapel, your service is greatly appreciated.

The private family service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Arbakka Cemetery.
