Obituary

With heavy hearts, the family of Mary Cote announce her passing on September 16, 2024 at Bethesda Place Care Home in Steinbach, MB.

Mary was born June 19, 1950 to the late Elra and Ida Galusha (nee Irvine).

Mary enjoyed reading, playing card games with friends and family. She was an excellent baker and cook. Her family enjoyed many tasty treats from her kitchen. Mary was known for her kindness to others and her quick wit. Everyone felt the love Mary had for her family and she will be missed by them all.

She is survived by daughters; Jennifer Martens, Anna Cuthbert, son; Mathew of Mary s late husband Gerard Cote. Granddaughters; Candace, Chantel, Jenneva, Tara and Olivia, grandsons; Ashton, Cody and Freddie Jr., great granddaughters; Adelina and Melina, sisters; Irene Orr and Bonnie Gouliquer as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember Mary dearly.

Mary was predeceased by husband Gerard Cote, son; Frederick Cuthbert, sisters; Beatrice Ogier and Heather Smith, brothers; Ira and John Galusha and nephew; Mathew Galusha.

Cremation will take place and an interment will follow at a later date.
