It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Rachelle Lilianne Marie Breton on October 1, 2024, at the age of 44. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Lynne Breton, whom she missed dearly and loved deeply since her passing in January 2023, as well as by her father-in-law Jeannot St-Vincent, and brother-in-law Serge St-Vincent.
Rachelle leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by her two children, Françis and Élise; her life partner Joel St-Vincent; her father and stepmother Roger and Joëlle Breton; her sister, Claire and brother-in-law, Roger; her nieces, Camille, and Chloé Hince. She is also mourned by her stepfather, Harold MacDonald; her brother-in-law Gilles, sister-in-law Nicole, and her niece and nephew, Stéphanie and Maxime St-Vincent; her nephew Emmanuel St-Vincent along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Born on August 25, 1980, at St. Boniface Hospital, Rachelle was a vibrant soul who made lasting connections throughout her life. She attended École Lavallée and Collège Louis Riel and was known for her warmth and kindness, effortlessly forming friendships wherever she went. Before her passing, she was employed at Canadian Western Bank, where her dedication and positive spirit shone brightly.
Rachelle was always eager to try new activities, but her family was her top priority. Known for her infectious laughter and playful spirit, she was often the first to arrive at gatherings, bringing joy to those around her. Rachelle was involved in her community and supported cultural initiatives.
Her children were her greatest loves, and she would move mountains for them. Rachelle made it a priority to ensure they were exposed to a wide variety of sporting activities and cultural events, fostering their interests, and helping them thrive in every pursuit.
A livestreamed memorial service to honor Rachelle’s life will be held on October 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Crossings Funeral Care in Steinbach.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the first responders who attended the scene of this tragic accident and to everyone who has offered their support during this difficult time. Rachelle’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
