Obituary

It is with deep sadness and many regrets we announce the passing of our mother, nana, daughter and sister Wendy.

Mom passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of November 7, 2024 following a short stay at Riverview Health Centre.

Wendy is survived by her son Chad (Josee), daughter (Deedee (Al) and her treasured grandchildren: Riley, Logan, Brady, Mason and Serenity; her mother Dorothy Enns, sisters: Bonnie (Gerald) Hodgson, Tammy (Mark) Holodryga; brother Clint (Mia) Enns and their families. She also leaves behind lifelong best friend Barb Bergan.

Wendy is predeceased by her father Bill Enns and one grandchild in infancy.

Mom was a people person her whole life, she worked as a health care aid for many years and had a very soft spot for the elderly.

Mom had a smile that could light up a room. Her smile shone the brightest when she was with her grandsons who she referred to as her bodyguards and her brown eyed beauty Serenity.

Wendy’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Morris United Church (207 Ottawa Ave West, Morris, MB).

The family wishes to thank the staff of Altona Memorial Health Care Centre, Boundary Trails Health Centre, Riverview Health Care Centre, Chief Medical Examiner Nicole from the St. Boniface Hospital, as well as everyone who visited, called and prayed for mom in the weeks prior to her passing.
