Reginald Alexander Taylor (or “Reggie”), age 73, of Steinbach, MB., passed away peacefully at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, on November 2, 2024, after a two-year struggle with bladder cancer and COPD.
Born on October 19, 1951, he was the son of the late Dorothy & Alec Taylor.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, and survived by his five siblings Beverly, Gail, Mike, Doug and Don, and his two raised sons, Bradly and Gregory.
He worked as a tradesman through the 1970s on construction projects in Winnipeg and up north, and by the 1980s settled into a career with Canada Post where he retired after 33 years of dedicated service. His hobbies were Friday night 10-pin league bowling, admiring classic American cars, golfing, fishing, meeting friends for coffee, going for road trips to small rural towns around Manitoba, and watching the Red/Green show. His technical construction skills were implemented during the 1980s to produce an expansion for his sister’s home, and a family trailer deck expansion out at Winnipeg Beach during the 1990s.
Reggie will be greatly missed by his closest friends and family, as his life blessed us with timeless experiences and memories.
A private family service will be held.
