Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Violet Aurora Dyck, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, granddaughter, and friend on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

Violet was 19 years old and a graduate from Ross L. Gray School. She had a great love for nature, especially mushrooms, frogs, daisies, and violets. Violet found humour in so much of life, sharing her wit, uncontainable giggles, and joyful laughter with her world. As a caring, funny, and adventurous young woman, Violet brought love and light to the lives she touched.

She is survived by her parents Jakob and Eva Dyck, her siblings Joseph (Brittany), Amanda (James), Vincent (Cayla), Vanessa (Yun), Meadow (Jasper), Alicia, and Quintin, her nephew Simon, her grandma Margaretha Dyck, her grandparents Jakob and Katharina Dyck, and so many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandpa Isaak Dyck, her grandma Margaretha Martens Dyck, and her uncle Peter Dyck.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Violet, please spend time with your family, talk with loved ones, and share in the joyous laughter that Violet brought to this world.
