With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lilliane Jeanson, who left us suddenly and unexpectedly on February 2, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister in-law, aunt, and friend, whose warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

She also leaves behind her in-laws: Ruth Jeanson, Lorraine (Claude) Rivard, Diane (Louis) Cyrenne, Gil (Lou-Ellen) Jeanson, Ben Pelland, many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

She was predeceased by her mother; Alphonsine Desmarais her in-laws; Jules & Claire Jeanson as well as her siblings and in-laws; Ernie (Anita) Desmarais, Cécile (Gerry) Dubois, Annette (Denis) Gobeil, Alice Pelland, Denis Jeanson, niece Linda Gauthier and nephew Donald Gobeil.

Born December 29, 1946, she shared a love story for the ages with her husband, Marcel, whom she loved deeply. Who knew as young 13 year olds walking around St. Boniface holding hands that their puppy love would grow to over 58 years of marriage and bless them with 3 great kids, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great-grand children. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories.

Mom’s love for her family was immeasurable: her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her heart.

She expressed her love in so many ways, but especially through her cooking, always ensuring that no one left her home hungry. Her kitchen was the center of her love, where she gathered everyone to share a meal and make memories.

She had an unwavering faith in Jesus and was devoted to her Catholic faith, where she found comfort and strength throughout her life. Her faith and love for God were evident in everything she did, guiding her actions and providing a foundation of grace and kindness for her family and those around her.

Mom, with her beautiful smile will be deeply missed by her family & friends. Her love, kindness, and faith will live on in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, Lil (Mom, Mémère). You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
