It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Brendan (Brent / Smielz) Neufeld. Brendan came into this world on June 11, 1999 and came to live with his adopted parents Dave and Kathy Neufeld about ten months later.
Brendan was reunited with birth family siblings when he was in his teens and he cherished those relationships.
Brendan was not someone who liked to just sit around. He was an adventurer right from the start. He loved playing hockey, quadding, driving motorbike, hunting and fishing, fishing, fishing!!
Brendan valued loyalty and respect. If you were Brendan’s friend you were a friend for life! He loved to laugh and had a unique sense of humor! He loved spending time with people. He loved camping trips. He was compassionate with a big heart – giving even when he had little to give.
Brendan’s journey brought him many struggles. He was thankful for friends who walked with him during these times . He was grateful and optimistic that things would get better.
Brendan – you are loved and you will be missed by your family and friends.
Brendan was predeceased by his parents – Holly Wolfe, John Sansregret, Dave Neufeld and Peter Kroeker as well as his sister Beth LeClaire.
