Obituary

Oarval Andrew Kiesman, age 78, of Marchand, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Winkler, MB.

He is survived by his loving partner, Sharon Hiebert; the mother of his sons, Lori Botan (Schultz); son David (Franka) and grandson Nicholas; son Ryan (Kristi) and grandchildren Bre-anne, Bryden, and Dayton; and great-grandchildren Kashlynn and Ryder. He is also survived by his sisters Beverly, Connie, Darlene (Lloyd), and Judy (Gil), along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Tillie Kiesman, as well as brothers-in-law Roy Gall and Bill Shindak.

Oarval spent the majority of his life in Marchand, a place he loved for its natural beauty. He was a generous and big-hearted man. He built a career as a businessman in the animal feed industry. He was a loving partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother and he will be deeply missed by his family.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
